Dining with confidence.

With restaurants reopening, we wanted to share what this means for you as a diner. So, if you’re looking forward to returning to your favourite chains and independents, here’s some information to help make it a safe and enjoyable experience.

How to book using your tastecard.

We hope to see all restaurants open again, but it may take them a little while to get back up and running. So from now on, you must call all restaurants in advance when planning to use your tastecard, to check they’re open and accepting bookings.

Don’t worry though, this change is only temporary. We’ll keep you updated when things change again.

1. Choose the restaurant you would like to visit

2. Call to confirm they’re open & book using your tastecard

3. Have a safe & enjoyable meal out

Simple steps to stay safe whilst dining out.

The first step to staying safe starts with you; so here’s some guidance on what you can do whilst you’re out.

Maintain social distancing with anyone you don’t live with.

Regularly wash your hands with soap & water for at least 20 seconds. Use hand gel as an alternative.

If you need to cough or sneeze, use a tissue/your sleeve to cover your mouth and nose.

When you need to use a tissue, make sure you bin this immediately & wash your hands.

What restaurants are doing to keep you safe.

All restaurants must now follow ‘Covid-secure’ guidelines released by the government. These are designed to keep both you and their staff safe. These include:

  • Carrying out a risk assessment and sharing this with staff
  • Introducing stricter cleaning procedures and providing customers and staff with extra hand washing facilities
  • Taking reasonable steps to maintain the 1 metre plus rule, or 2 metres where possible
  • Where 2 metres isn’t possible, take extra steps to reduce the risk of transmission

Restaurants will be monitoring these measures frequently, along with the FSA (Food Standards Agency) requirements; so there may be changes to the way you dine.

We’ve got confidence in our restaurants.

Here’s some of the steps Prezzo are taking to keep customers and staff safe when they reopen their doors.

  • Prezzo are now offering a simplified menu (of all your favourites) to make social distancing easier within their kitchens
  • There’s now more space in their restaurants, as tables have been moved to allow for social distancing, and a new one way system
  • There are markers on the floor to remind you of distancing measures along with new ways of ordering your food. Either order via their single use menus, or online from your seat
  • They’ve also gone cashless to lower the risk of contamination; with card readers sanitised after every use

It’s great to see the lengths they’ve gone to to ensure their restaurants are safe for you to dine in. We can’t wait to get back there and enjoy their tasty Italian food!
