A proper Scotch egg and Haggis pops.
Where better to get a Scotch egg than a restaurant straight from the Scottish Highlands? One of Mac & Wild’s specials is their Scotch egg made up of a runny egg nestled in a venison, black pudding and haggis meat mixture, deep fried to perfection. And another Scottish classic with a twist to try is their Haggis pops. Nuggets of haggis coated in breadcrumbs and deep-fried, of course.
The almighty Venimoo Burger.
Meet the meatiest, messiest, juiciest burger in the land: The Venimoo. Featuring one heck of a venison patty, beef patty, lashings of cheese, béarnaise sauce and caramelised onions all served in a seeded bun, you might just order a second.
The steaks are high. And juicy.
A guaranteed pleaser from the Mac & Wild menu is something from the steak menu. Choose from the favourite Macduff’s rib-eye steak or a mighty Tomahawk rib steak served on the bone. And even an Instagram-worthy Venison chateaubriand which in Mac & Wild’s words is “So tender you only need a butter knife”. Oof.
A side of Haggis Mac & Cheese, please.
What’s better than a side of Mac & Cheese? A side of Haggis Mac & Cheese, that’s what. Macaroni, endless amounts of cheese, haggis and a crispy breadcrumb top, it’s the perfect accompaniment to The Venimoo Burger or a big, hearty steak. Mac & Wild’s Haggis Mac & Cheese was designed to warm the cockles.
