Eating green is having a moment. And we’re getting in on it for Veganuary.
Challenging people to a plant-based diet for January, Veganuary is expected to be even bigger for 2019. We did some digging and scoped out the best vegan-friendly restaurants and dishes from our portfolio of restaurants. So, you can still eat out whilst getting into Mother Nature’s good books.
Go on. Have your vegan cake and eat it too.
You wouldn’t be alone in thinking burgers are out of the question for Veganuary, but Byron’s Beetnik burger has the makings of a stellar burger. Without the meat, of course.
A beetroot falafel patty, baby kale, smashed avocado, tomato, pickled red onions, red pepper ketchup and rainbow slaw. Just. So. Good.
Frankie & Benny’s
As well as lip-smacking mains, there are plenty of delicious desserts that’ll hit the spot too.
Frankie & Benny’s have upped their offering to include the Vegan Chocolate Raspberry Lava Cake. Fruity, chocolatey and melt-in-your-mouth good – it’s a dairy-free delight.
Get your spag bol fix this Veganuary with a bowl of veggie goodness from Bella Italia.
Their Lenticchie dish features spiralised vegetable spaghetti dressed in a rich lentil and mushroom ragu. Totally delicious. Totally slurpable.
For a little bit of luxury, Café Rouge have things sorted with their Vegetable Parmentier.
A celeriac, chestnut mushroom, pearl barley and white wine stew topped with crispy potato. Sounds like heaven. Tastes like it too.
