Known for their delicious sushi rolls, there’s a lot more to YO! these days than just maki, uramaki and temaki. So, if you’re a sushi-sceptical, there’s plenty to fill that hole with. Think traditional Japanese food like doughy gyoza, juicy bao buns, fresh salads, crispy katsu and even desserts. Plus, half of the menu is hot and a third is vegan, meaning there’s something for every mouth.
With 2 for 1 across all dishes, 5 days a week, there’s even more reason to order one of everything at YO! and get stuck in. And trust us, we’ll be right there with you.
So, what’s on the YO! menu?
Pumpkin, tofu, prawn and chicken katsu curry – take your pick from four different kinds. Fried in panko breadcrumbs, drizzled with a mild curry sauce and served with steamed rice, katsu curry’s one of the most filling dishes on YO!‘s menu.
Traditional Japanese dumplings made of soft dough and stuffed with either vegetables, chicken or prawns, we can guarantee YO!‘s gyozas will be gone in 60 seconds. Served with a soy-vinegar dipping sauce.
Steamed bread rolls filled with either shiitake mushrooms in terayaki sauce, chicken teriyaki or chicken katsu with garlic mayo and cos lettuce, YO!‘s bao buns are a taste of Japanese street food you’ve got to try.
Who knew eating your greens could be so moreish? From the classic edamame beans to a zesty chicken & tangerine salad, and everything in between like tenderstem broccoli and aubergine dishes, getting your five a day’s a doddle.
A mix of ingredients served in a broth, ramen’s essentially a soup that’ll actually fill you up. Choose from a vegetable broth with shiitake mushrooms, tofu and pak choi; a curry broth with fried chicken and noodles; and a hot & spicy kimchi broth with prawns, salmon, squid and vegetables.
If you like the sound of everything above but sushi’s still your thing, there’s tons to pick between from the YO! menu. Vegan sushi wise, there are options like avocado maki and glazed aubergine nigiri. For fans of the classic fish sushi, choose from pieces like salmon sashimi, prawn rolls and tuna mayo rolls. And if you prefer meat sushi, tuck into seared beef nigiri and aromatic duck rolls.
